The benefits at a glance:
Optimum space utilisation
- Overhead, area-serving load transport
- Optimum utilisation of space thanks to minimum approach dimensions
- Suspension from existing workshop ceilings or roof structures
- Require no additional supports for the crane runway
Convenient handling
- Easily moved by hand
- Smooth-running, snag-free operation thanks to articulated connections between the crane girders and trolleys
- Low deadweight
- Customer-specific and cost-effective solutions for workshops – also in limited sections
- Versatile applications thanks to modular system design (e.g. latching arrangements with KBK suspension monorails for crane trolley transfer)
- Cranes can also operate on runways that are not parallel
The benefits at a glance:
Optimum space utilisation
- Overhead, area-serving load transport
- Optimum utilisation of space thanks to minimum approach dimensions
- Suspension from existing workshop ceilings or roof structures
- Require no additional supports for the crane runway
Convenient handling
- Simple, safe and reliable handling
- Favourable installation dimensions
- Customer-specific and cost-effective solutions for workshops – also in limited sections
- Versatile applications thanks to modular system design (e.g. latching arrangements with KBK double suspension monorails for crane trolley transfer)
- Can also be employed as manipulator cranes – optimum design for use in state-of-the-art handling systems.
Strong performance
- Rated for loads weighing up to 3,200 kg
- Maximum possible hook paths by arranging the hoist between the crane girders
- Maximum span dimensions by means of multiple suspensions (cranes operating on more than two runways) – to cover extensive storage and production areas
- Modular system design
The benefits at a glance:
KBK overhung cranes
- Efficient utilisation of the workshop (e.g. workshop areas added at a later date can also be served without the need to install an additional crane runway)
- They can be operated beneath ventilation ducts, radiant heaters and cables
KBK extending cranes
- Depending on the design, girders can be extended to one or both sides beyond the width of the crane runway
- They can also be used for precisely lifting and positioning loads in almost inaccessible areas (e.g. between pillars and columns)
The benefits at a glance:
Efficient workplace design
- Optimum ergonomic load handling
- High operating speeds
- Optimum positioning of workpieces and sub-assemblies
- Range can be increased by performing operations also outside the suspension area
- Also available with KBK Aluline for even lower deadweight
Simple upgrade
- Existing KBK double-girder suspension cranes can be converted into manipulator cranes using KBK ergo components
The benefits at a glance:
High flexibility
- The route can be precisely adapted to meet the structural requirements of any workshop thanks to a wide range of components
- Transfer to adjacent suspension cranes also possible using latching devices
Great versatility
- Also suitable for use as equipment carriers (e.g. for test equipment, electric and compressed-air tools)
- Reliable supply of media thanks to comprehensive KBK components (cable trolleys, hose clips, etc.) – for dedicated transport with fluids, compressed air and power supply systems for cranes and other mobile equipment
- Double-rail tracks as carrier systems for rigid handling equipment, such as manipulators or lifting devices
